Gaz GHA Coilovers - Fast Road and Occasional Track Days Using Road Tyres.

Kit Configuration
In this kit the front is full coilover. The rear is separate spring and damper. The rear damper is adjustable for stiffness and the rear spring lowers the car by 50mm at the rear.
The kit can be built for cars up to 20/21 with the early top mounts or from 2021 with the later top mounts. Please choose the correct kit as the front damper rods are different in the kit built for the later top mounts.
This kit allows you to adjust height at the front (the rear is a fixed lowered spring) and damping at all four corners of the car. This solves a number of problems that fast road and track day drivers often run into as follows such as understeer, oversteer, lack of grip. The kit is also supplied with the correct spring rates, damper valving and ride height range (see Custom Build Specs section below).

Adjustable Height
For fast road and track day cars, this allows you to lower the car, lowering the centre of gravity and reducing body roll which increases mechanical grip. You will also be able to adjust the height at one end relative to the other. This is especially useful for front wheel drive cars where you might want to run the rear ride height higher than the front to reduce understeer.
Adjustable Damping
For fast road and track day cars, this allows you to stiffen the cars suspension further reducing body roll to further increase mechanical grip. You will also be able to adjust the damping at one end relative to the other. This is especially useful for front wheel drive cars where you might want to stiffen the rear damping to reduce understeer as stiffening the rear or softening the front pushes weight onto the front wheels increasing grip.
This GHA kit uses 50mm diameter damper bodies and as such is not designed to accept the higher loadings of prolonged use with semi or full slick tyres or the very high spring rates these tyres require to generate the heat required to fully exploit their extra grip available. For dedicated track day or race car suspension using semi or full slick tyres, we recommend our Gaz Gold, Twin Adjustable or Gold Twin Adjustable kits.
